Wrené is a Montreal-based independent avant-pop/experimental pop artist, producer, vocalist, songwriter, sound designer, model, and visual artist. She previously pursued acting in Toronto before shifting focus to music and multidisciplinary art.
She has independently written, produced, and released atmospheric, emotionally driven electronic/avant-pop music since around 2019–2020. Her work features intimate vocals, rich sound design, experimental textures, and themes of vulnerability, dissociation, transformation, and healing. Influences include Björk. Key releases include albums such as Metamorphosis (around 2023) and The Intangible. She has removed her catalog from Spotify in favor of more intentional, non-algorithmic approaches and physical formats. She also offers production, vocal, and sound-design services.
Early acting credits include supporting/acting roles in projects like A Dangerous Test and Tall Boyz (2019), a lead in a Koodoo commercial (2018), and a lead in a Johnny Orlando music video (2018). She has training in voice, scene study, and related areas.
Modeling and visual art: She works as a model and creates fine-art photography (including film photography series). She has appeared in Playboy in connection with a music release, framing it as an expression of agency and multifaceted femininity.
She creates and shares artistic content involving nudity and intimate themes through modeling, photography projects, and her Patreon.
